I purchased my current home in 1996. For almost the next decade, I talked about renovating the basement, but did nothing about it. In mid-2005, my next door neighbor began a major renovation and expansion of his house. He was kind enough to offer the use of his large dumpster, and I took that opportunity to begin demolition.
I start this blog in early 2009, as I near the end of the project. I’ve taken a lot of pictures and have a lot of thoughts and I hope you will find some of it useful. I’ve also tackled other projects through the years, and have other random thoughts I’ll throw out from time to time.
